Safety Factor
The table below details the safety factor assuming a 5" slump and a continuous pour for varying heights (left column) and diameters (top row). When the colour is yellow (195% to 205% safety factor) or red (< 195%), the filling rate should be reduced to increase the safety factor (contact your ready mix supplier for more information).

Fast-Tube™ comes on 60' and 120' rolls and is available in diameters from 8" to 20". There are two rolls per box.

Technical
- Proper curing of concrete: Fast-Tube™ is a vapor retarder and should be left in place for several days to allow proper curing;
- Easy stripping: Made of polyethylene, Fast-Tube™ does not stick to concrete and can be left in place indefinately without fear of adhesion;
- Water proof: Fast-Tube™ can be left in the rain indefinitely without fear of failure or loss of strength;
- Anti-friction plane: Fast-Tube™ eliminates risk of frost uplift around the column as coefficient of sliding friction of polyethylene is very low;
- Manufactured in two strengths:
- Diameters 8" to 12": mullen burst = 450 psi (ASTM #751), perm = .036 (ASTM E96),
- Diameters 14" to 20": mullen burst = 750 psi , perm = .0003.
