ARCHITECTURAL REVEALS
By tying rope around the outside of the column, beautiful architectural reveals are formed as shown in
this picture.
Credit for this innovation goes to Professor Mark West of
CAST (Centre for Architectural Structures and Technology, Winnipeg,
Manitoba), and Troy Rutherford of Foresthill
California, who applied Mark's artistic ideas to the Fast-Tube™.
Troy explains, "I wanted an old world look to the columns.
That's why I used nylon rope to create the rings that you see on
them. I then stained the columns
'Malaysian buff' to match the floor you see in the picture."
