Attaching the screed board to the metal stake
Often
the predrilled holes are incorrectly positioned for the attachment of
the 2x4 screed board. A simple work around is
to screw a conduit strap around the steel stake and into the screed
board. Be sure to attach the conduit strap at the top of the 2x4 face
where the torquing forces are highest.
